Digital Creativity: Working together to create a rich and diverse ecosystem? Five years of NUMIX LAB: review and outlook

Since 2021, NUMIX LAB*the first travelling European event dedicated to digital creativity, has been taking place across different countries of the European Union.

Since the first edition of our event in 2021, the field of digital creativity in Europe has expanded and undergone profound transformation across a wide variety of venues: museums, immersive spaces, art centres, planetariums, VR venues and festivals. As a result, millions of Europeans have had the opportunity to discover this artistic and cultural diversity.

It has also fostered the development of an increasingly significant production and distribution ecosystem, supported by a market worth several billion euros.

Building on the many achievements made by European stakeholders in the field of digital creativity in recent years, this fifth year of NUMIX LAB provides an opportunity to take a closer look at the richness of Europe’s production and distribution ecosystem.

This study was carried out with the support of the Creative Europe Programme – Markets and Networking.

*Created by the French cultural agency Correspondances Digitales in collaboration with Xn Québec, the event has already brought together more than 2,300 digital creativity professionals.
